Academician Yao in the laboratory of HEC

The students major in pharmacy of the Jinan University and Academician Yao Xinsheng visited HEC.Leading by President Tang, they have visited various laboratories located in generics division, ATS Laboratory, pharmacology andpharmacy department and pilot plant of the formulation department respectively.

They were so interested in the working attitude that technicians control massspectrometer without manual. President Tang mentioned that it is orientationin pharmaceutical R&D toautomaticallymanage all the experimental procedures. After thebrief visit, Academician Yao indicatedthat there were two aims of the tour, one was to study ,the other was to explore how to make cooperation.

Azithromycin tablets manufactured by Sunshine Lake Pharma Co., Ltd. (SLP) has been outlined in WHO prequalified medicines list recently. SLP is considered to be a  qualified supplier of Azithromycin tablets for procurement by WHO and UN agencies, such as UNICEF, UNAIDS, and UNFPA.

Currently SLP is the only Azithromycin tablets manufacturer listed in WHO prequalified medicines website in the world.
