葡萄糖通常是指以淀粉为原料，经液化、糖化，再通过精制、浓缩、冷却结晶所得的含有一个水分子的产品，一水葡萄糖溶液可进一步脱水精制得到纯度更高的无水葡萄糖。Glucose usually refers to a product containing one water molecule that is obtained from starch through liquefaction, saccharification, refining, concentration, and cooling crystallization.
