Property: It is an oil-soluble organic compound that is added to sunscreen to absorb UV rays. It is a wide area (broadband) ultraviolet absorber, light stability is very high, can absorb UVB and UVA, its absorption peak has two, respectively at the wavelength 310 and 340 nm.

Application: Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is a new broad-spectrum sunscreen, belongs to the oil soluble chemical sunscreen, it can protect a part of the UVB and most of the UVA, absorption wavelength between 290-370nm.  Protection function against UVA is comparable to avobenzone.  Its molecular weight is large, not easy to be absorbed by the skin.  It has strong stability, can also be used as a stabilizer of other chemical sunscreen.
